One of the biggest issues around ‘sustainability’ is how to get us all on board – not only with what it meansĀ  but also with how we can change the way we do things.

This is the remit of the Inner Green Deal project:

Sustainability from within.

If we want to see change in the world, we need to address the human dimension of sustainability. The Inner Green Deal cultivates skills, habit change and collaboration. Enabling profound change and an acceleration of the green transformation.

It could sound rather nebulous, but the project is working with Lund University – and the research is that people can feel empowered once they engage:

The project also offers some excellent podcasts – as shown on their InnerGreenDeal / X platform – including from ‘solarpunk girl’ Phoebe Tickell who looks at the importance of imagination to bring us closer in relationship with the world – as opposed to escaping from it:
