One of the things that’s attractive about the Solarpunk movement is that it is not ‘demographic specific’ – in that its creativity and openness and hope is open to all generations to be inspired and to be inspiring.
An online group is very keen to promote the interchange across the ages – and they are Solarpunk Generation:

Solarpunk Generation
We are the parents, kids, aunts, sisters, grandparents, uncles, and brothers working for a regenerative, healthy, and prosperous world. We are building a #Solarpunk future today. Join us!
Solarpunk Generation involves a series of global initiatives and projects designed to spark a movement of innovation, regeneration, and collective intelligence through storytelling, arts, intergenerational engagement, and holistic experiential learning in order to facilitate ecological flourishing and the psychological resilience of children, youth, families, and diverse communities.
The projects aim to generate, support, and catalyze ideas and solutions that can nurture the healing of vulnerable communities and the planet and harness our collective creativity to build a regenerative future for all generations.
There are several objectives, the last one being:
Collaborate with other projects, organizations, movements, individuals, and groups to promote ecological health and resilience and facilitate the creation of global networks of eco-hubs or Solarpunk Hubs and common pools of resources designed to harness our collective creativity to build a regenerative civilization.
And there is a link to the wonderfully life-enhancing podcast Listen to Green Teacher Podcast- Eco-Anxiety and Solarpunk Episode:
How do eco-anxiety and ecological grief differ? What can educators do to address them with their learners? Why is solarpunk such an effective counter-narrative? Day Sanchez does extensive work in the realm of eco-emotions, so she has many important insights about how to navigate these often-turbulent waters. We know that doom-and-gloom framing leads to apathy in most people, and though it is essential to tell the truth, we must balance difficult truths with active hope grounded in realistic alternatives for the near and far future. This is where solarpunk comes into play.
That’s a good example of good practice, bringing experience and understanding together to help us all of different generations to cope and to hope.
