There are some interesting, different perspectives out there on the COP30 event in Brazil.

From Solar Punk – Pinpin (@punk.solaire) on Instagram, we get the suggestion that the COP30 might be the best or the worst thing ever, plus a view on COP30 DAY 1 – Quick summary.

If you like bashing billionaires or would like to engage properly in some ideas coming from the top, there’s some great discussion happening now in the context of COOP30 in the Bill Gates notes : r/solarpunk feed on the Reddit platform.

There’s a new book out in the lead-up to COP30 2025 from the Arkbound Foundation. In its anthology Climate Collapse? Calls to Action from Around the World, it considers how we perceive collapse determines how we respond. Is the climate crisis best understood through the lens of apocalyptic despair, utopian hope, or something in between? And so it includes a look at solarpunk literature as a model for envisioning alternative futures.
